With just less than two weeks left until the release of Godzilla teen Kong, Legendaries (via Bloody disgusting) like some revealing new tracks shared from the long-awaited Monster Verse mash.
All three focus on Kong, and one confirms a pretty important point, so be careful spoil
In the clip in question, the King of Skull Island is greeted by his girlfriend Jia (Kaylee Hottle), who is able to communicate with the great ape via sign language. It soon came to light that the forest environment is actually a massive fence, surrounded by a digital barrier, where Kong is being held against his will.
The second sneak peek also features Jia along with Rebecca Hall’s character, and the final track bothers the underwater showdown between the titans.
“Legends clash as these mythical opponents meet in a spectacular battle for centuries, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. Kong and his guardians embark on a perilous journey to find his true home, and with them is Jia, a young orphan girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond. But they unexpectedly find themselves on the path of an angry Godzilla and cut a place of destruction all over the world. The epic collision between the two titans – fueled by unseen forces – is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the earth’s core. ”
With Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Shun Oguri, Jessica Henwick and Brian Tyree Henry, Godzilla Vs. Kong pits the two famous monsters against each other in an epic battle.
Eric Pearson (Thor: Ragnarok) and Max Borenstein (The Terror) wrote the screenplay, with Adam Wingard as director on board. The film will be released in theaters and on HBO Max on March 31st.
