This is the main conclusion of a quality study presented at the UCA.
The study of practices, tactics and strategies that deliberately generate doubt, confusion or disagreement between the population is known as agnosticism.
The term was accredited by Stanford University Professor Robert Proctor in 2008 and was published in the book “Agnotology: The Making and Unmaking of Ignorance”. Two years later, El Salvador was the first agnostic study center in Central America with the title “Agnology and pandemic: a case study on agnostic practices in response to COVID 19 by the Governor of El Salvador”.
The investigation, led by Herman Duarte as part of his specialization in Human Rights at the London School of Economics (LSE), concluded that “the governor of El Salvador has failed in agnostic practices, and these practices violate human rights” .

The study focuses on identifying the strategies that give “the production of knowledge and the form that impacts the inhabitants in different dimensions, starting with the right to have a clear, unmanipulated, reality” image.
