The upcoming Hummer EV pickup will not be the only ‘supertruck’ in GMC’s fleet when it arrives next fall. On Saturday, the carmaker unveiled its Hummer EV SUV variant, which secures the open bed in favor of a closed boot area and the elevator is filled with an externally mounted emergency tire.

The Hummer sport utility vehicle with five passengers is expected to arrive in early 2023 with the 830 hp edition 1. This will provide an estimated distance of 300 miles, which is 60 km / h from a dead end within 3.5 seconds (only half a second slower than the pickup). and will sell for $ 105,595. Its 20-module Ultium battery pack provides power to a trio of motors mounted on the front and rear axles and supports 800 V charging at 300 kW. 22-inch fields are standard. Issue 1 will be followed in the spring of 2023 by the $ 99,995 EV3X with the same specifications as Issue 1, but not the bragging rights to having one of the first. The $ 89,995 EV2X will also offer dealers in the spring of 2023, offering up to 625 hp with a torque of 7400 lbf generated from a pair of axle-mounted cars and powered by the 20-module battery. There is still no word on the 0-60 time. Eventually, the $ 79,995 EV2 will arrive in the spring of 2024 and offer a 250-mile range of a 400V, 16-module battery, though you will be able to opt for the 800V 20-module package that extends the range to 300 plus miles push back though.
Like the pickup version, the Hummer EV SUV will include the pull-out mode that lifts the vehicle’s 6-inch body to remove obstacles; GM’s super-free SuperCruise hands-free steering system, four-wheel drive and CrabWalk, which allow drivers to move the vehicle diagonally without changing the direction in which the SUV is heading.
