Picardo said: “The loyalty of the people of Gibraltar to the crown of the United Kingdom is and will never be called into question. In these troubling and difficult times, our deepest loyalty has been recognized and repaid.

“The UK played a blind spot on vaccinations and we were among the beneficiaries in the British family of nations,” he said.
