Giant apparently agrees with QB Mike Glennon

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – The Giants and Mike Glennon have agreed on a contract that will bring the veteran eighth man to the team, pending a physical, according to several reports.

Glennon, 31, has played in eight seasons in 34 regular-season games with Tampa Bay, Chicago, Arizona, Oakland and Jacksonville. The Giants will be his sixth team in six seasons.

Daniel Jones is expected to support 6-7, 225 pounds with 6-7. Glennon completed 599 of 980 passes (61.1%) for 6,235 yards, 43 touchdowns and 25 interceptions for a pass rate of 83.5. His most prolific season was his first season. As a newcomer to Tampa Bay in 2013, Glennon started all 13 games in which he played and had his career highs of 416 passes, 247 rounds, 2,608 yards, 19 touchdowns and nine distinctions.

The Buccaneers selected Glennon in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, 73rd overall, from the state of North Carolina.

In 2020, Glennon started five games for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He completed 111 of 179 passes (62.0%) for 1,072 yards, seven touchdowns and five interceptions.
