US stock markets rose on Friday after Finance Minister Janet Yellen called on Congress to deliver a ‘big package’ for COVID-19 relief.
“I think the price of doing too little is much higher than the price of doing something great,” Yellen told CNBC’s “Closing Bell” on Thursday. “We think the benefits will outweigh the costs in the long run.”
