Now that the giant Home Max smart speaker has been discontinued, Google suggests that those interested should rather pick up some of its new Nest Audio speakers. If you were looking for a deal with the Nest Audios, you’ve been lucky; BrandsMart USA is currently offering a $ 150 two-pack, which saves $ 48 on MSRP.
Our own Taylor had access to two Nest Audios while writing his “one month later” review, and found that “some Nest Audio speakers are so good that you probably do not need the largest speaker from Google.” In his review, he likes the improved sound in Google Home, excellent microphones, cheaper starting price than the Home ($ 99 versus $ 129), and the clean design. He did note that there are no wired inputs available, and that there is a bit of a delay by Bluetooth, which can be problematic if you want to watch videos with your Nest Audio (s).
