11:30 update: Georgia has its first commitment of the day as Bear Alexander defensively committed to Georgia in 2022.

Alexander announced the decision via his social media.

Alexander gives Georgia eight commitments in the 2022 cycle. He’s the first to come from outside the state of Georgia, just as he comes from Denton, Texas. He will play defensive tackle in college and is currently the overall no. 140 in the cycle. Its commitment gives Georgia the best place in the 2022 recruitment cycle.

The Alexander announcement brought out the first GO DAWGS of the day from Kirby Smart. It should be noted that Alexander does not consider himself a replacement for Jordan Davis.

Georgia coach Kirby Smart will meet with the media on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. to discuss Georgia’s signing class. While it’s before Arnold’s announcement, Smart will discuss a number of topics, such as the new defensive rugby coach, the transfer portal and other news and notes surrounding the Georgia program.

Smart also interviewed Rivals, where he touched on a number of topics, including offensive recruiting, Brock Vandagriff and Xavian Sorey.

09:45 update: Bear Alexander, a defense package with a 4-star in 2022, will announce Wednesday around 11:30 ET. DawgNation’s Jeff Sentell recently caught up with Alexander to give an example of his commitment.

Should Georgia adopt Alexander, the Bulldogs would move up to No. 2 spot in the 2022 recruiting rankings. Alexander would be the first commitment in the 2022 class of Georgia from outside the state of Georgia as he arrives in Denton, Texas. All seven of Georgia’s 2022 commitments currently come from the state of Georgia.

A few names for markets have announced their commitments, with Oregon landing 4-star cornerback Avante Dickerson and Kentucky landing 4-star linebacker Trevin Wallace from Jesup, Ga.

As of now, the Bulldogs are still going strong with the No. 3 class in the 2021 cycle. Texas A&M and LSU both have the potential to add their classes today, which could make it interesting to see if Georgia has the necessary diamond hands to hold that place. Landing Arnodl, however, would clinch it for Georgia.

07:00 update: For the 2021 class, Georgia is just waiting for Arnold. He is the number 50 player in the 2021 recruiting cycle and the number 3 safety. Arnold is from Tallahassee, Fla., And is considering a final try from Georgia, Alabama and Florida.

Arnold is going to announce his bet at 4pm ET. DawgNation will have live coverage of the announcement on its social channels.

Georgia could also get good news when it comes to the 2022 yard class on Wednesday, as Bear Alexander is going to announce his commitment to the 4-star defense attack. Alexander is the leading number 140 in the 2022 cycle and comes from Denton, Texas.

The Bulldogs have the number 3 ranking classes in both the 2021 recruiting cycle and the 2022 work cycle. Georgia cannot climb higher in the 2021 cycle as Alabama with the no. Class 1 ends and the state of Ohio will come in at number 2.
