Georgia QB JT Daniels makes his return official, the 2021 title hope jumps

ATHENS – Georgia soccer quarterback JT Daniels has indicated he will return to the Bulldogs for the 2021 season, which will cause more players. announces that they will also return.

Daniels’ return is expected to set up an explosive 2021 season for the Bulldogs offense.

Georgia was 4-0 with Daniels as its starting quarterback in 2020. The USC transfer overcame the out-of-season knee-jerk surgery to help the Bulldogs secure season wins over the state of Mississippi, South Carolina, Missouri and Cincinnati to ensure.

The announcement is a step in the right direction for retaining Coach Kirby Smart. Georgia has already lost at least three underclass to the 2021 NFL draft:

• Junior cornerback Eric Stokes

• Azeez Ojulari, Redshirt’s second back linebacker

• Trey Hill Junior Center

UGA is still awaiting decisions from juniors Jordan Davis, James Cook, Tyson Campbell, Jamaree Salyer and Zamir White.

Smart puts Georgia on the leaderboard of four consecutive Top 10 finishes after an impressive back-to-back victory in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

The Bulldogs had their backs to the wall in the 24-21 victory over the Bearcats, and climbed 21-10 behind to claim the biggest comeback victory in the fourth quarter of Smart’s 5-year term as head coach achieved.

Daniels, who transferred from Southern Cal to UGA last May, managed the team from his own 20-yard line with 1:29 left and no countdown periods, and into the field goal field of Jack Podlesny, who went on to drill the game-winner.

The new Bulldogs full-back turned down the credit to Ojulari, Podlesny and Kenny McIntosh on the field immediately after the game.

Georgia fans can be very excited that Daniels is going to be in Athens for another season to compete in a few more, starting on September 4 against Clemson in Charlotte, NC.

At least one NFL spot, from CBS Sports, has selected Daniels as a first-round pick.
