Georgia QB JT Daniels kept California cool at the Peach Bowl game

Georgia quarterback JT Daniels had the weight of the Georgia soccer program on his shoulders with 1:28 left and no time-outs left, the Bulldogs put it down 21-19.

Daniels, a second-year quarterback transfer from USC, with a red dress, stayed cool as always with the game, and moved Georgia (8-2) to set the field-winning field goal in the 24-21 victory over Cincinnati ( 9- 1).

The pass defense of Bearcats, which was second on the rankings, was difficult and difficult to set up as expected.

Cincinnati expanded its nationwide active series of games that forced a turnover (20) with an interception in the first quarter when Daniels and George Pickens had their wires crossed.

Cincinnati’s pass rate and pressure pack were a handful for Georgia’s shifted offensive line.

The Bearcats beat the Bulldogs in the trenches all day and hold UGA just 45 yards on 24 attempts with no runs longer than 12 yards.

By making Georgia one-dimensional, Cincinnati was able to poke his ears back and deliver several shots at Daniels, including a forced struggle as he tried to flee from a fierce rush to another empty Red Zone possession.

And yet, on the final ride, Daniels was able to complete 5 of 7 passes for 44 yards, clinching an achievement that put him 26-of-38 for 392 yards and a touchdown.

Daniels moves to the 4-0 as the Bulldogs start with the win, and the offense looks new with him under center.

“At this point, I feel like I’ve been here for years,” Daniels said. “When I came in, I felt a connection with the team.” A commitment to the way this program is run is as I would say. We’re all about ball.

‘This is something you can say about the whole team: everyone just loves football. We are here to do our thing and be the best players we can be. ”

Daniels regularly struck deep at the Bearcats and paired with George Pickens in a 51-year strike in the first quarter and got Arian Smith on a 55-year-old bomb and Kearis Jackson with 42 wins.

But there was also the interception in the end zone and a fourth-and-1 pass that Daniels shot into Jackson’s arms for what appeared to be a first time until Jackson dropped it.

Daniels, as many now realize, is his nature, does not mind and was as happy as anyone after the game.
