After six weeks of twice-weekly updates, we’re coming up with the final pre-NCAA tournament of the season. We started the same process last year, of course, and we all know what happened then: the tournaments stopped, Bubble Watch stopped, the sport we love, and this strange, wordy, contextually-obsessed column we create together, were frozen. . The latest BW update of 2020, submitted by the media center in Greensboro, NC, promised to ‘end the fight;’ it was about 15 minutes before the world stopped. We were on a flight back to DC later that day.
So, yes, there is something very satisfying to see from Bubble Watch to the conclusion this year.
