George Clooney speaks in quarantine to Amal, a three-year-old twin, a woman: it’s been an adventure

Like many, George Clooney stayed at home during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Hollywood titan has been staying at his home, Amal, for more than six years. The two also share a three-year-old twin, Alexander and Ella.

In a round table virtually hosted by the Los Angeles Times, actor Michael Clayton (59) opened up about how life has been a better part of a year for him.

“It’s been nine months mostly indoors,” he said. “I have twins of 3 years, so it was an adventure in washing lots of dishes and changing diapers.”

The star joked, “My own, mostly.”

He also took note of his 87-year-old father, who lives in Kentucky.

“I miss being with my family,” Clooney admitted. “We have a lot of gratitude for being able to be in our homes and have some security because there are a lot of people around the world who do not.”

In the actor’s latest film, The Midnight Sky, he plays a scientist whose own isolation terribly matches the quarantine caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“It was an interesting thing,” Clooney told Fox News last month.

“We were done in February, just before everyone was locked up, which was one of those moments where they said, ‘Don’t worry, it’s just getting elderly …’,” he continued. ‘Previously [the lockdown], the idea was what we could do to each other 30 years from now if we ignore science or if we continue in the line of divisiveness. ‘

However, its direction changed as soon as the virus started spreading all over the world.

“When we first arrived at the pandemic, we started the idea of ​​our inability to get home, our inability to see each other. My inability to see my mom and dad,” said the actor, who is also directing the film was, explained. “It became a much stronger theme while we were in production.”

“To be honest, it’s a shame,” he said of the life that art imitated in this case. “It is a pity that there are these parallels, it is a pity that we are in the position we are in.”
