UPDATE: Genshin Impact maintenance will start at 22:00 GMT and the servers are expected to be down for at least five hours. During this time, a small fee will be paid to gamers when they sign up again.
Genshin Impact 1.4 will take effect after today’s interview and is expected to end on Wednesday, March 17 at around 03:00 GMT. Last minute extensions and delays are possible and may change the final update time of Genshin.

ORIGINALLY: The Genshin Impact 1.4 update has a release date set for Wednesday, March 17, but it also means servers are taken offline for maintenance.
In the run-up to the new version of the game being launched, Mihoyo servers will have to take off in about five hours.
This means that gamers will not be able to complete the core features, or play on live servers until completed.
The good news is that we know when Genshin Impact servers go down and when update 1.4 is available to play.
WHEN DOES GENSHIN IMPACT MAINTENANCE BEGIN?
According to Mihoyo, Genshin Impact servers will depart on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 22:00 GMT.
Genshin 1.4 interview will last five hours and will take place on all platforms including PS4, Mobile and PC.
Mihoyo also confirmed that there is compensation to players, 60 Primogems for every hour the servers are off.
A development message explains: ‘To ensure all travelers have the best possible Genshin Impact experience, our developers will soon be updating. After completion, the game will be updated to a new version.
‘Once travelers have installed the new game client, they will be able to continue playing. It is recommended to install the update over a Wi-Fi connection due to the large file size.
‘While the update is in progress, travelers will not be able to sign in to the game. Take note of the update time and schedule your playing time accordingly to avoid losing your progress. We hope travelers will tolerate us during the disruption. >
The maintenance update starts on 2021/03/17 06:00 (UTC + 8) and is expected to take five hours. Exact times can be changed. Players may also experience disruption outside of this period. ”

New feature: Hangout events
After the version 1.4 update, the new “Hangout Events” feature will be added to the game. Travelers who reach the required adventure rank and complete the prerequisites will be able to unlock Hangout events for Barbara, Noelle, Chongyun and Bennett using Story Keys. (Each Hangout event requires two story keys to unlock.)
New Archon Quest
You hear from Ganyu and Lan that the treasuries of Mondstadt and Liyue have teamed up and plan to engage in some ruins related to the Abyss. Fearing the chaos that the Treasure Hoarders may cause through their involvement, you take up the commission and investigate.
New World Investigations – A total of 8 world issues will be available during the Windblume Festival.

Elementary skill “devastating confession”: move quickly behind the enemy (except for some major enemies) and unleash an attack that treats Cryo DMG. Elemental Burst “Rites of Termination”: throws an ice lance into the ground that deals periodic attacks of AoE Cryo DMG.
