A weekend crossover event between the popular Genshin Impact and Kentucky Fried Chicken had to be shut down in Shanghai and Hangzhou after apparently violating China’s rapid food chain prevention measures. announced on Chinese social media site Weibo today.

Genshin ImpactKFC restaurants in China across China attracted a large crowd overnight when fans had the opportunity to get special pens featuring playable characters Diluc and Noelle, who were used last month to continuous crossover.
