Genshin impact hypostatic symphony, detailed as the event begins

The company behind the free play title Genshin Impact released details on what players can expect as they take on the challenges of the newly released hypostatic symphony event. In particular, miHoYo outlined the Violet Lightning Concerto boss encounter, which is a daily challenge that players in both singles and cooperatives can face.

This being is similar to Electro Hypostasis, except that it possesses an Amethyst Prisma that inflicts continuous Electro damage to nearby characters in response to electrical damage. To mitigate its effects, players will have to deactivate it through elemental reactions, after which the Amethyst Prism will stop inflicting damage until it is further damaged by Electro damage.

So far we know that players will have to reach an adventure rank of 20 before they can take part in the challenges. We also know that rewards will include a celebration – a name card for hypostasis and some Primogems, although the exact amount of it is not yet known. More details about the event are expected to appear on January 17, 2021.

Genshin Impact is available for free on PCs, PlayStation 4 and mobile devices. There is also a Nintendo Switch version in the works. A new storyline was recently added to the game on January 12, 2021 along with a new banner featuring the characters Ganyu, Liyue, Xiangling and Xingqui.
