Gayle King’s daughter Kirby Bumpus cut the knot.
The 32-year-old married to Virgil Miller at King’s best friend Oprah Winfrey in California, the TV host revealed on Monday on ‘CBS This Morning’.
King, 66, explained that she and her ex-husband, William Bumpus, were not allowed in the Montecito estate due to COVID-19 restrictions.
‘[It’s] difficult to see how your daughter gets married and can not hug, ”she said, referring to social rules.
King’s son, William Bumpus Jr., did the service.
Winfrey and her partner, Stedman Graham, were also at the big day.
She added that she helped her daughter go buy wedding dresses, but this was done remotely due to the virus.

At the time, Bumpus shared a photo of her large diamond ring in the photo and wrote: ‘Here. WE. Go!”
