Even though we’re almost three months out From the launch of the next generation consoles, the new PlayStation 5 and PS5 Digital Edition systems are still very difficult to obtain. According to AMD, these deficits could last for most of 2021. Although the consoles are hard to come by, there are still a lot of exciting PS5 exclusives in the offing.
If you are trying to grab a PS5 before launching Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Horizon Forbidden West, of Gran Turismo 7, these are the retailers you need to look at and the services you need to use to track inventory.
PopFindr, OctoShop and other tools for finding PS5 consoles
Although you may want to check retailer websites, many tools will take some of the bone work out of you to monitor 24/7. First, you should have notifications to your preferred merchant and accounts as follows @SpielTimes, @ PS5StockAlerts, en @ Wario64 who consistently tweets about where and when the inventory takes place again.

GameStop did not say when the next big PS5 stock will be again, but keep an eye on their PS5 store page and PS5 Digital Edition page (besides the share price).
Target
Target has been a trusted source of PS5 consoles since its launch, especially in the store. You can use PopFindr to see if you have local Target stock. If not, wait for the next online reload. Be sure to monitor their PS5 hub page during February.
PlayStation Direct
If you want to buy a console directly from Sony, this is the website you need to use. That said, when you re-stock PlayStation Direct, you’ll be put in a queue to get the chance to get a PS5 instead of buying one. If you notice that the queue is open from the above sources, go to the store pages PS5 Standard Edition or PS5 Digital Edition on this website.
Walmart
As the largest retailer in the United States, many people get PS5s from Walmart. While it can be difficult to get a console with them, as stock disappears almost immediately again, it is one of the most consistent retailers when it comes to reconnecting PS5s. No new re-application dates have been announced, but you can always monitor the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition store pages
Best buy
Although Best Buy has been a fairly constant retailer for PS5 consoles, they have not been back in stock since mid-January. Due to this long gap, it is possible that another share is imminent in early February. If so, you want to see the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition store pages when this happens.
Amazon
It’s hard to get a PS5 from the most popular internet retailer because they do not announce when they will reload the system. Amazon has listed PS5 units since launch, but you really need to be at the top of your game to get one of them. Use tools like OctoShop and the Twitter accounts we listed to try and get a PS5 console as soon as it’s available. If launched, it will appear on their dedicated PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition offerings.
