GameStop Announces New PS5 and Xbox Series X Shares

GameStop has announced a stock of PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Nintendo Switch, all of which will be released tomorrow. At the moment, the launch of this new hardware stock has not been announced yet, and it does not look like it will change. In fact, the retailer does not even mention that it has to deal with customers, but notes that it will simply alert customers via social media if the stock is available. Not only are details scarce about when the stock will be released, but it is unclear whether it will all be available simultaneously. If so, be prepared for issues on the site.

Furthermore, it looks like the stock will be limited to bundles. In other words, if you just want to buy the PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S or Nintendo Switch and only the hardware, this stock may not be for you.

What is also not disclosed is how much stock there is. The retailer notes that there will be a “limited number” of each piece of hardware, but that’s what it says every time.

Whatever happens, it is safe to bet that the stock will disappear within minutes. Not only was this the case with every GameStop stock, but every stock in every retailer. Not only is the demand for all of these products extraordinarily high – especially for the PS5 – but scalpers and resellers are still stripping stock of bots that could make thousands of orders in minutes. Although the scale dwellers’ reign of terror seems to be coming to an end, they are still everywhere in every PS5 and Xbox Series X stock. This should not be a problem with the Nintendo Switch, but the demand for this hardware is also high, so it has been out of stock for weeks.

As noted, striking details are currently missing before the stock reopens tomorrow. If GameStop provides more information, we’ll definitely update the story. In the meantime, click for more coverage on all games.
