McGregor recently revealed during Eddie Izzard’s charity marathon stream last month that filming will begin in “late spring” in Los Angeles.

Joby Harold (Army of the Dead) came on board in April to write the series, replacing the room Hossein Amini (Drive).
The show was first announced at the D23 Expo in August 2019, although it is still unclear when it may debut on Disney Plus.
Alec Guinness originally played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original Star Wars trilogy, before McGregor was brought to the younger version in the prequels.
