Since actress Evan Rachel Wood publicly accused her former fiancée Marilyn Manson of ‘horrific’ abuse earlier this month, more than a dozen other women have come forward with similar allegations. And now Esmé Bianco, the actress and burlesque artist best known for her role as Ros in the hit HBO series. Game of Thrones, Manson also accused of physical, sexual and psychological abuse.
Bianco spoke at length about her relationship with Manson in New york today, and call him a ‘serial predator’ and ” a monster that almost destroyed me and so many women almost destroyed. ‘She provided the publication of emails, text messages and photos of her time with Manson, and numerous friends and members of his entourage confirmed the details of her story.
Although Bianco idolized Manson as a teenager, she first met him in 2005 through his then-fiancée Dita Von Teese. They kept in touch after his marriage ended in 2007, and in 2009 he flew her from London to LA to act as his “victim / lover” in a music video for his song “I Want to Kill You Like They Do in the Movies” to play. . ”
Bianco, then 26, expected it to be a professional recording. Instead, she spent the next few days underwear, barely sleeping or eating, while Manson served cocaine instead of food. He became violent, tied her to a prayer knee with cables, beat her with a whip and used an electric sex toy on her wounds. Manson never sent the footage to her and constantly apologized for releasing the video.
Bianco and Manson then start a long-distance affair, with Manson visiting her in London and arranging her trip to LA. She says he would bite her regularly during sex without permission and leave her whole body bruised. In 2011, when he asked her to move in with him and promised to get her a visa, Bianco left London and started living in Manson’s apartment in West Hollywood.
After a brief honeymoon, Manson became extremely controlling and prescribed what she could wear, her sleeping schedule and when she could leave the apartment. “I basically felt like a prisoner,” Bianco says. ‘I came and went to his pleasure. Who I spoke to, he is completely in control. I let my family hide in the closet. ”
The Game of Thrones pilot broadcast while Bianco was staying at Manson; he repeatedly played her sex scene on a projector for guests and said, ‘This is my girlfriend, she’s a whore. Look, her tits are out. A former member of Manson’s inner circle, who asked to use a pseudonym for fear of retaliation from Manson, recalls that he regularly saw bruises on her arms and back.
“I think I would have made excuses for him,” Bianco said. “I was in survival mode at the time, and my brain taught me to be small and pleasant.” Once, Manson repeatedly cut Bianco’s torso with a knife. “I can only remember lying there, and I did not argue,” she says. “It was kind of that last straw moment where I lost all hope and security.” He sends a photo of her tracks to his assistant and a tape mate with the subject line: “See what happens?”
Bianco lived with Manson for about two months and drank heavily to cope and was often in a dissociative state. She secretly began searching for apartments after Manson chased her through his house with an ax; she was away while he slept and broke up with him by email. Later, when she saw him after one of his shows in 2013, he blocked the door to the room at the back of his tour bus and refused to allow her until 5 p.m.
Like Evan Rachel Wood, Bianco testified before the California Assembly in 2019 to expand California’s statue of restrictions on domestic violence crimes, although she did not designate Manson as her abuser at the time. “He kept telling the world, ‘This is who I am,'” Bianco said. “He clearly hid … He’s not a bad artist. He deserves to be behind bars for the rest of his life. ”
