Well, I think we’m waiting for February 27th
We are almost through the “remake verse”, with the main line Pokémon generations: if this rumored project comes to fruition (it will probably happen one day, the real question is whether it is this year).
We went through Red, blue, gold, silver, ruby, and Sapphire all over again, but according to a report by Centro Pokémon, diamond and Pearl coming possibly on Switch as soon as 2021. If so, the following versions are on the way Black and White games (1 + 2), and at that point we were almost in the modern era with X & Y.
But back to Diamond and Pearl for a second. Centro Pokemon states that “according to sources close to the company,” the few remakes will be announced next month on February 27, which also serves as “Pokémon Day” and the 25th anniversary of the series. Based on the report, the reissues will take place this year.
Hey, this does not sound too far-fetched, but anyone could make this prediction at any point beyond the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire remakes in 2014 and possibly was right. We do know that there are big announcements this year, so it’s time to just grab the salt shaker and wait.
