We are at the end of CES 2021 and Samsung decided to launch its next flagship Galaxy S21 series, consisting of the S21, S21 Plus (and S21 Plus with 5G) and S21 Ultra, earlier than usual with an Unpacked event during the same busy week; they start at $ 729. The launch included Galaxy Buds Pro and SmartTracker.
The new model is made of metal and harder glass for better durability, with a screen that supports customizable refresh between 48 and 120Hz and improved protection against low blue light. And of course a trio of better cameras and new photo processing equipment with AI. Better bokeh! Pet-specific mode! It adds multishot processing and white optimized white balance to your selfie options.
For video, you can take 8K photos from videos and take photos and videos at the same time, plus a best recording mode. It also adds a multi-camera view for video, with fast switching between them – it sounds really cool.
The phone has an updated processor for faster processing, also with updated security hardware. Samsung has partnered with Unity, maker of game developer tools, to optimize the game.
The S21 Ultra 5G has a better processor, screen and cameras compared to its smaller siblings. There’s a new 108 megapixel image sensor that gives extra pixels to inside to make better light images. “Nona-binning!” “Space zoom!” This is a new algorithm that uses the new folded lens to provide better zoom between the wide and the tele- and lock function to reduce the cameras.
Samsung has improved compatibility with third-party services. For example, it now uses Android messaging rather than redirecting through its own messaging system. There is more support for Google’s Android APIs, such as Android Auto and the Nest, within the SmartThings app.

The Ultra comes black … Phantom Black. The new screen requires lower power and shifts from time to time between 10 and 120Hz to save battery, but it is brighter with a wider spectrum. The S Pen Pro is new with Bluetooth actions and the new S Pen was created with Wacom.
Samsung is bringing its IoT technology to Galaxy SmartTag and SmartTag Plus (with ultra-broadband wireless), a small portable device to track anything (or anyone) you can put up with a SmartThings Find app on your phone.

However, these are not just telephones. The company also debuted its Galaxy Buds Pro with enhanced sound; they add a small woofer for better bass. They have motion sensors and Dolby sound for 360 surround, as well as active noise cancellation. And they look very different.

The microphone has also been improved to be more directional and has a more closed fit with adjustments to reduce wind noise.
