A California man who was furious that Wingstop allegedly messed up his order of chicken wings twice was caught on a video throwing the cash register through the window when he failed to refund his online order.
The video, which Tharon Trujillo posted on TikTok on Tuesday, shows the unknown man tearing the cash register at a Wingstop location in Antelope off the counter and hitting it twice on the ground before throwing it out the window.
“I do not want the food. I do not want to wait. I do not have time to wait for the food again. OK, so now what do we do? says the man in the video.
An employee responds, “It’s like you’re rebuilding the food, and you go on with your day and stop yelling at my other manager because it’s, no, it’s unsolicited. ‘

The unknown man jerked the cash register off the counter when shocked employees looked
The man snatches the cash register and throws it on the ground before throwing it out the window and leaving the store. The video appears to be censoring the man who is making a fuss with outbursts.
The manager of the Wingstop told KOVR that the man claims that he has wings and that refunds are not granted according to the company’s online ordering policy.
Trujillo told the point of sale that he had heard the angry customer claim that he had received the wrong order twice.
I told him to calm down. I said, ‘you do not want to go to jail, you do not want to go to jail,’ Trujillo said.
He added: ‘I was definitely shaking a bit when I saw it, they were definitely shaken in the back, the ladies in the back were definitely shaken and they were very thankful that you stayed. This is definitely not what you see every day. ‘

The store manager told KOVR that replacing the broken registry cost about $ 6,000 and that the store was waiting for a quote to fix the window.
The sheriff of the Sacramento County office told the point of sale that vandalism with more than $ 950 in damages was considered an offense and that the incident was eligible for them to issue a warrant.
The Wingstop location is submitting a police report for the damage. No injuries were reported.
