FSU National Signature Day Central

For Florida State, there are not yet a bunch of businesses left for their 2021 site class. Head coach Mike Norvell and the company signed 16 high school and junior college prospects in December, while also adding eight transfers in mid-January. Seven of the eight transfers were signed and entered, with Kansas-wide receiver Andrew Perkament to be the only exception. Thus, FSU stands on 24 commitments, signed with 23 prospects, which enter National Signing Day on Wednesday. Click for a full look at the betting list here.

FSU’s class is number 30 in the country (list here) and no. 6 in the Atlantic Coastal Conference (list here) Enter Wednesday.

The Seminoles could deliver two more prospects on Wednesday. Here’s who we’re watching:

The primary name you need to know is New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr fourth star wide receiver Destyn hill. Hill, which previously went by the name Pazon during the cycle, was the entire FSU’s biggest broad receiver target during the 2021 cycle. He was hosted by the Seminoles in January 2020, made several official visits to Tallahassee and is thought to have paved the way for the Seminoles. The 247Sports.com Crystal Ball reads 100% for FSU, and the entire Noles247.com staff submitted a prediction, among other things. Hill, which is ranked by the 247Sports.com Composite Rankings as the overall outlook no. 112 in the 2021 class, is expected to announce Wednesday around 10:30 ET.

Hill would become the FSU’s leading award in the 2021 class.

Another prospect worth keeping an eye on Wednesday is the Oradell (NJ) Bergen Catholic four-star defense pack Tywone Malone. FSU is considered the last three for the standout for football / baseball, along with Ole Miss and Texas A&M. With the announcement Wednesday at 4pm in ET, things remain uncertain about Malone’s future destination. The 247Sports.com Crystal Ball reads Ole Miss for the overall prospect no. 62 in the 247Sports.com Composite Recruiting Rankings.

If the FSU only signs Hill on Wednesday, it is expected that they will have one more scholarship to fill for the 2021 cycle. An offensive attack is the most likely target in the coming weeks and months before launching in September.
