Frontier crisis response has ‘everything but transparency’, says Texas business owner ‘America Reports’

A business owner in Texas slammed Biden’s government and local officials Friday, telling America Reports that their handling of the ongoing border crisis contained “anything but transparency.”

‘Our city councilors, the city of Carrizo Springs, do not inform us why our busloads of people have [go] through the city, why our city water is filled, down the street from my house, with tankers being transported there [to the migrants] without explanation, ”gym owner Rebekah Pullara told host Sandra Smith.

“It just seems like with all this talk about transparency, it’s all but transparency.”

Pullara added that residents spotted ‘many illegal activities’ and ‘numerous traffic accidents’.

“Our sheriff’s department is really doing a great job of keeping us informed where our city officials dropped the ball by letting us know why we’re seeing it,” she said. “It’s just crickets, dead quiet.”

COMMANDED CONTROL IN FIRE FOR LACK OF TRANSPARENCY ON BORDER CRISIS

Del Rio Sector of U.S. Customers and Border Protection has already reported 12 assaults this year, compared to 21 assaults that occurred throughout 2020.

“These people are entering this community, and how can we be assured that we are kept safe?” Vra Pullara. “We are absolutely not.”

Biden’s administration has received increasing media coverage of the lack of transparency regarding child migration facilities along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and a two-member delegation of senators visited El Paso, Texas, on Friday to assess the situation, but restricted access to the media due to “privacy and COVID-19 precautions.”

Human rights advocates have also expressed concern about the lack of transparency, saying it is ‘disturbing’ that they do not provide access to those who want to oversee the circumstances of more than 13,000 migrant children detained.
