Details of the show have been announced under lock and key since lock, but the actor explained that fans would not expect to see him in character when they tune in.

“I will be myself, I will be David,” he shared. “There’s nothing in writing, we are not in character. We are all ourselves.”

However, he also teased ‘one part’ of the program in which the cast ‘everyone will read something’.

“Friends” aired on NBC from 1994-2004. Despite the upcoming reunion, however, Schwimmer did not spend much time refurbishing his old material.

Last month, Schwimmer revealed to Andy Cohen of Bravo that they have finally found a way to continue with the reunion.

“Ultimately, I mean, we’ve figured out a way to film it safely, and there’s going to be a part of it that we can film outside because of security protocols,” he said at the time.
