A friend of the British woman who disappeared from the US yacht in the US Virgin Islands a week ago asks him why the police have not yet had to search the vessel where she was last seen, he told Fox News on Tuesday said.
Speaking on ‘America’s Newsroom’, Andrew Baldwin said Sarm Heslop is his best friend and wants to understand why investigators took so long to sing the 47-foot Siren Song, which was performed in Frank Bay, St. Louis at the time. John, moored, to search. the former flight attendant went missing.

“It’s been eight days since Sarm disappeared,” Baldwin said. “Eight days in, they could get anything on the boat.”
Heslop was last seen on the evening of March 7 aboard the vessel owned and operated by her American boyfriend, who has since been identified as Ryan Bane.
Heslop is a former air hostess from Southampton, a port city on the south coast of England.

Baldwin told Fox News that he met Heslop Bane after sailing across the Atlantic Ocean from the United Kingdom to the Virgin Islands with two friends in late 2019.
“She met Ryan at some point the following year while she was locked up because of COVID,” he said, adding that their relationship had been going on for five or six months.
Bane told investigators that he and Heslop left St. Louis around 10 p.m. John returned to the vessel and went to sleep, Ricardo Castrodad, spokesman for the U.S. Coast Guard, told Virgin Island Daily News on Thursday.
Castrodad said the American called police the next day at 11:46 a.m. to report Heslop missing. He also told police that Heslop’s cellphone and other belongings were still on board, and that the dinghy was still tied.
Police divers and volunteers searched the waters along the coastline in search of Heslop in the ensuing days. But searchers found no sign of anyone in the water.
Baldwin said he finds it “incredibly difficult” to believe Heslop fell out of the vessel. Police said there was no evidence to suggest the Southampton resident ever entered the water.
Fox Nation’s Nancy Grace examined the timing of Heslop’s disappearance on Fox & Friends on Monday morning, saying: ‘I’m curious why it took [Bane] almost ten hours to warn someone. ‘
Baldwin urged Bane to support the police in their investigation, and that authorities handle the search with the utmost immediacy and seriousness.
Jobs could not be reached for comment on Heslop’s disappearance. His legal adviser, David Cattie, issued a statement on his behalf.

Heslop’s friends have set up a missing Sarm Heslop Facebook page to share information about the search, while police are investigating the disappearance.
