Protestant evangelist and missionary Franklin Graham on Thursday expressed outrage with the ten Republicans from the House who joined the Democrats this week to vote for a second time to accuse President Trump.
“Shame, shame for the ten Republicans who joined with @SpeakerPelosi & the House Democrats yesterday to condemn President Trump,” Graham wrote. “After all he has done for our country, would you turn your back and betray him so quickly? What was done yesterday only divides our people further.
In a separate post on Facebook, Graham develops the theme of “betrayal” and compares the ten Republicans to Judas Iscariot, the fallen disciple of Jesus Christ, who according to the Bible betrayed Christ in exchange for 30 pieces of silver.

Pelosi is expected to take the following steps following Wednesday’s indictment during a news conference at the Capitol, Reuters reported.
On Twitter, Pelosi did not acknowledge the anti-Trump votes by ten Republicans and only said that most Republicans of the House betrayed their “sacred responsibility” by standing with the president.
In further remarks, Graham acknowledged that President Trump was not a “perfect person”.
“I do not support or agree with some of the things the president has said and done over the past few weeks,” wrote Graham, 68, one of five descendants of the late Rev. Billy Graham, the legendary preacher and missionary who was born in 2018 at the age of 99.
