(CNN Español) – The President of Peru, Francisco Sagasti, spoke in an interview with CNN’s Conclusions on Spanish about the recent scandal of vacancies in the country.

‘Desmiento y niego tajantemente’
When Fernando del Rincón asked the president if he had received a dose of the experimental vaccine from Sinopharm against covid-19, Sagasti replied: «Definitely no. This is indignant. Just think of a critical moment for our country. At no point is it clear to me what I want to do with it ».
“On the contrary, I hope I have a ministerial resolution that includes me in the patronage of the first vacancies. There is no denying that it is true and that it is truly indignant, “said Sagasti.
During a televised speech on Monday night, the President of Peru announced that 487 people would “approve their position” in order to receive the Sinopharm vaccine, the Chinese manufacture, the early form, according to the Andean media.
Local media have informed that the former Martín Vizcarra and his wife, Maribel Díaz Cabello, were evacuated while they were in the cargo in October and did not reveal this information to the public. Vizcarra claims that he and his wife were evacuated as part of a clinical trial, through the Cayetano Heredia University, in the case of the trials, in which hubieran participated as volunteers.

Sagasti has defended Mazzetti, who has been receiving the Sinopharm vaccine.
The president said he was “deceived and molested” and that he included talking to his “friends psychoanalysts, social psychologists, in order to maintain a natural behavior.”
Sagasti explained that the case was in the hands of the Contraloría and the Procuraduría and that «the judiciary will adjust accounts with those who are related to the adjusters».
When Fernando del Rincón asked the question about the officials involved in the deberan evacuation scandal being disabled, the president said: “We are in a critical and extreme situation, and critical situations and extremes require extreme solutions. The disqualification is obviously one of the solutions, but it tends to be planted which has the corresponding investigation ».

‘What has been sued is an aberration’
Regarding the “lost” dose, the President of Peru states that “he will not need a single dose, a single number, in the air”.

“What we can do is ensure the integrity of the clinical trials that take place in Peru. That which has been sued is an aberration that should be treated as such, “said the President.
Sagasti reported that there are currently more than 115,000 people evacuated in less than one week.
