Corey Oswalt recorded five casualties over two innings in the Mets’ 7-5 showdown over the Cardinals Sunday at Clover Park. The right-hander Oswalt – who is deep in the bullpen and rotation – makes his debut in the Grapefruit League.

Francisco Lindor is just 3-for-19 (.158) in the show season, but he reached his base twice on Sunday, with a single cut and walk.
Caught my eye
After an epic record of 22 pitches that ended with a walk, Luis Guillorme swung and stretched out on the first pitch in the next bat.
