Frankie Says Relax

Francisco Lindor won 2-for-3 with his first hits of the show season in the Mets’ 9-5 defeat to the Nationals in West Palm Beach. Lindor sang twice in seven innings twice after the start of the spring.

Kilome accident

Franklyn Kilome hit the eighth innings and allowed two earned runs on two strokes and a walk. He also throws one of the four wild stands by Mets throwers.

Caught my eye

Brad Hand, a left-handed reliever who pursued the Mets during the winter, struck out the sixth innings and allowed one earned run on one hold and one run. The Nationals signed Hand for a $ 10.5 million one-year contract.

Tuesday’s schedule

Taijuan Walker is expected to make his debut in the Grapefruit League with the Mets, who beat the Cardinals in Port St. Lucie dares.
