Fortnite’s the latest season ends, but chapter 2: season 6 is ready to start on March 16th. Unique to the popular battle royale, it begins with a special single-player narrative event called the Zero Crisis Final.

This event will cover the gap between seasons 5 and 6 by Epic Games in a recent blog post, showing the “conclusion of Agent Jones’ mission”. This is one that sees iconic characters like the Terminator, Predator, Ryu & Chun-Li and Ripley and the Xenomorph Queen appear throughout.

Unlike previous events, which required players to sign up at a specific time, Zero Crisis Finals starts when you first sign up for season 6, so you can join when it’s convenient. This may be a response to previous server issues, as the Galactus event occurred in December 15.3 million players log in at the same time.

Epic Games has also confirmed plans to have players watch this live premiere online first, should you prefer. It is called ‘our most ambitious feature film to date’, and the stream details have not been confirmed yet, but we would expect it to appear soon.
