Among the 12 animated short films are Bankie of director Rich Webber, who has long been awarded a BAFTA award. From BlueZoo Animation Studio, Lynx & Birds is shown, as well as Jamille van Wijngaarden’s slapstick film about a pet bird and a curious cat, Catastrophe; and the Oscar-nominated film A single life of the writing and directing team of Job Roggeveen, Joris Oprins and Marieke Blaauw.
No movie tickets are required for attendance and players can step in at any time. Films that contain dialogue will be available with subtitles.
The Party Royale mode Fortnite is an experimental space where players can play mini-games and attend concerts. After hosting a Travis Scott concert in 2020 that attracted 12.3 million simultaneous viewers, the concert series was welcomed with artists including Dominic Fike and Anderson. Paak, a Halloween concert by J. Balvin and a Christopher Nolan movie night, among others.
