Epic Games is offering refunds to Fortnite players who purchased the recent T-800 Terminator sheet and expected it to contain additional content.
Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5, has so far been characterized by its diverse range of crossover character sheets. Following the Marvel Comics heavy “Nexus War” that season 4 consists of, this current season began with characters from The Mandalorian, and has since represented Halo, God of war, The Walking Dead, en The Predator. However, Epic Games is now offering refunds Fortnite‘s T-800 sheet, added this week from the Terminator franchise.
The running metal skeleton, based on James Cameron Terminator 2: Judgment Day, was added to the battle royale on January 21 along with Sarah Connor. Players can purchase these skins for $ 1,500 and $ 1,800 respectively, but also available in this Future War series is an emo of Techno-Grip Ax and Cyberdyne Salute, according to Fortnitewebsite.
There was initial confusion because the wording of the website posted that the Cyberdyne Salute emote would be packed with the T-800 Terminator skin. Epic Games yesterday released a fix, which was also posted on Twitter, giving fans the opportunity to get a refund if they ‘are no longer happy with your purchase’. Fortnite has offered refunds for cosmetics in the past, so this is not an unusual move, but those who want to start the process will have to wait until they receive a notice on the matter sometime next week.

While some fans may have been disappointed because the new Terminator-theme emote was not packed with the T-800 skin, this is probably not the biggest problem with recent crossover characters encountering players. A mantle device included with the Predator Fortnite with the skin, users can become invisible indefinitely thanks to one mistake, and the Baby Yoda / Grogu back bling can block a player’s view when aiming.
Despite these occasional problems, Fortnite Season 5 continues and there will probably be many more surprises for fans of the battle royale outside his crossover with the Terminator franchise.
