Fortnite Dev Epic Games has bought an abandoned mall to move to its next headquarters

Epic Games has bought an entire mall with plans to convert the unused space into its new headquarters in Cary, North Carolina. In a press release, Epic Games announced that it has purchased a 980,000-square-foot, 87-acre Cary Towne Mall. will become the new Epic Games campus by 2024. This includes plans to create long-term office buildings and recreational spaces.

The development of the new headquarters will begin later this year and Epic Games will meanwhile remain on the current Crossroad Boulevard site in Cary, the city of Epic Games has been established for more than 20 years.
