Former talk show host Larry King admitted to hospital with COVID-19

Legendary broadcaster Larry King is in a Los Angeles hospital with COVID-19, according to several media reports released today.

The 87-year-old, who for decades became known as the host of CNN’s “Larry King Live” after a successful run as the host of the radio’s “The Larry King Show” in the 1970s, is in isolation and may not according to Showbiz411, which first reported the news, visiting his family.

King is being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to ABC News.

King’s representatives did not immediately return requests for comment.

The native Brooklyn stepped down from his CNN show in 2012, but has since continued to work, and he hosted 2012-20 ‘Larry King Now’ in Hulu and RT America. He also hosts the weekly “Politicking with Larry King” on the channels.

King has endured several health problems, including a severe heart attack in 1987, the removal of a cancerous tumor in 2017, an angioplasty in 2019 and a stroke in March 2019.
