Comstock told Andrea Mitchell, MSNBC, that she ‘dares[s] any Republican ”to call President Trump’s comments before the riots” completely appropriate “, referring to his defense of the remarks earlier Tuesday, his first public comment since he was banned on Twitter last week.
“I think the president should resign, but unlike Nixon, he can not even reach the level to do so,” she added. “I would definitely like the 25th amendment to be used, if it can happen, but accusation looks like it will be.”

Comstock said she had discussed the matter with people in contact with Pence and his staff, saying “it looks like they’ll be taking too long, even though they’re keeping it out because of their own concerns.”
Comstock’s comments come the same day when three Republicans from the House announced they would vote Wednesday to accuse Trump, including Rep.
