Former Facebook security official Alex Stamos told CNN’s Brian Stelter on Sunday that something had to be done to stop conservative speeches from reaching tens of millions of Americans.
“People have so much choice now,” Stamos complains. “They can choose what their news sources are. They can choose which influencers they want to follow, and they can try to eliminate anything they can question.”
Leftists do not like competition. If they could have one ministry of truth, like the one that AOC strives for, controlling the story would be so much easier.
Stamos subsequently demanded that conservative voices be purified from social media in the same way that ISIS propaganda was removed from the internet.
“I think we need to do a few things,” Stamos continues. “One, there has to be deliberate work done by the social media companies, to work together to work on violent extremism, just like they did on ISIS.”
Stamos recalled how Facebook and other major social media companies worked with the government to ban ISIS, saying the same approach should be followed with conservatives.
“And secondly, we must reject the ability of these conservative influencers to reach these large audiences,” Stamos continued. “For example, there are people on YouTube who have a larger audience than CNN during the day, and they are extremely radical in expressing extremely radical views.”
Approximately? Where does the Constitution say that most Americans should listen to fake news on CNN? The last part of its Orwellian plan includes forcing cable providers to remove OANN and Newsmax from their programming.
“And then we’ll have to figure out the OANN and Newsmax problem,” the totalitarian said. “These companies have freedom of speech, but I’m not sure we need Verizon, AT&T, Comcast and so on to bring them into tens of millions of homes. It allows people to search for information if they really want to, but it does not. in their I think this is where we are going to have to go here. ‘
If no one can watch a news channel, it will obviously not work for very long, that’s the point. In addition, Google is already making sure that you can not find the information. Leftists do not care about conservative speech as long as no one listens to it.
