Representatives of Netflix did not make any official comments.
A representative of Underwood said they could not comment on this.
The news comes on the same day that Underwood first talked about his sexuality with Robin Roberts in ‘Good Morning America’.
“I ran away from myself a long time ago, I hated myself a long time ago. I’m gay. I agreed on that earlier this year, and the next step in it all was to let people know,” Underwood said. “I’m the happiest. and healthiest I have ever been in my life. It means the world to me. “
Underwood, a former NFL player, plays in season 23 of the ABC dating program.
The past few years have been huge for the unwritten space of Netflix, where a number of traditional reality series (i.e. those outside of reality competition and food spaces) could break through, even as the library of the original streamer’s original offerings swelled. “Selling Sunset” is probably his biggest reality hit to date and achieved a two-season renewal last month.
