Ford recalls 79K-F Series pickups to fix windscreens

Ford is recalling 79,017 F-Series trucks in the US because their windshields may not be properly attached to the frame and could come down in an accident.

The carmaker said he was unaware of any incidents or injuries related to the case.

The recall includes certain Ford F-150 and 2020-21 Ford Super Duty models from 2021. Owners of the trucks in question will be notified by the week of April. 6.

Separately, Ford recalls 9,979 2020 Ford F Series Super Duty trucks built from May 13, 2019 to September 19, 2020 at the Kentucky Truck Plant to replace labels printed with incorrect payload, and to replace spare parts figures with incorrect truck camping loading documentation.

Ford said the trucks could limit the tires, brakes or suspension if they followed the existing numbers.
