Ford Dealers Build 100 Dedicated Bronco Stores

Apart from the top-selling Ford F-150, the Ford Bronco is one of the most important and popular Blue Oval nameplates. So much so that the bookings for the first issue of Bucking Horse ran out within hours when the car was launched last year.

If you think Ford dealers will regain the popularity of the name tag, that’s right. Some retailers are actually planning to add a dedicated showroom for the Bronco, the Bronco Sport and future additions to the Bronco family. Motor News reports.

However, the idea of a dedicated Bronco showroom was not from Dearborn. It comes from the dealers and at their request, Ford created versions for the standalone stores (see the gallery above). The carmaker also rewards the dealers who will open their Bronco showrooms by slightly increasing their Bronco awards Motor News.

With that, Ford expects 100 dealers to build their respective Bronco showrooms – linked to the original Ford showroom or close to the area. Of course, these freestanding stores must be branded with the Bucking Horse logo.

The demand for both the Bronco and the Bronco Sport was really remarkable. Despite not having arrived in the showrooms yet, Ford said Bronco bookings are more than 65 percent. The Bronco Sport, on the other hand, already sold 23,356 units during the first quarter of 2021.

Once again, we hope that Ford will sustain the demand for Bronco and Bronco Sport, given the global chip supply crisis that forced the carmaker to cancel its traditional production holiday during the summer.

The delivery of the Ford Bronco is expected to take place by June, so expect the full-fledged off-road sports utility vehicle to hit the road in a few months.
