Food Network Star Kerry Vincent Dead at 75

Cake Pioneer and Food Network Striking Kerry Vincent Died Saturday, January 2, at age 75.

The dessert specialist died after an unspecified illness, according to a Facebook post from Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show, which Kerry co-founded.

“It is with great sadness that I have to report the passing of Kerry Vincent earlier tonight,” reads the report. ‘Because she was a very private person when it came to everything that did not cake, she did not want to place her illness among the public. Unfortunately, her struggle has come to an end, but she will no longer be in pain. She will be seriously missed by everyone she touched through the Sugar Arts as [well] as personal. ‘

The organization added: ‘There are no services at her request. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. ‘

Kerry serves as judge Food Network Challenge and hosted the Food Network’s 2014 series Save My Bakery. She was also a judge on the Australian series The Great Australian Bowl Down, and she founded the Grand National Wedding Cake competition, which was broadcast several times on the Food Network.
