Lifelong New Yorker Karol Markowicz slammed Governor Andrew Cuomo on ‘America’s Newsroom’ for his coronavirus “rubble” compared to states like Florida.
“We have Governor Cuomo, who was told he was doing an excellent job during this whole process, and that he was actually doing a terrible job,” the columnist for the New York Post said Tuesday.

“I mean, not only have our businesses been destroyed, our vaccination program is deteriorating,” she said. “Florida just goes by age, that’s what we had to do all the time.”
In her Post column, Markowicz writes: “Authorities in New York do not trust our people to do the right thing for themselves and their neighbors. Our lives are being held hostage to Cuomo’s whims.”
However, she points out that Floridians know what to expect from Governor Ron DeSantis.
‘The biggest difference is that everything in Florida is open, and indoor meals are open in all the cities, and that they kind of live a normal life, but everyone still wears masks, everyone’s social distance, everyone was regular hands, “she said. ‘They take all the precautions without any insanity we do in New York.’
Markowicz pointed out that it is not uncommon for a New Yorker to wear a mask on the street, although it is not necessary.

“We did it because we feel the social pressure to do it, but in Florida they just do not do such crazy things. It makes it easier to take the precautions seriously,” she said.
“Florida is doing it right. New York is not, and that’s really hard for a lifelong New Yorker to say,” Markowicz concluded.
