Florida Ring Doorbell Camera Captures Terrific Fatal Plane Accident in Area

A small plane reportedly crashed into a car on a Florida street on Monday before slipping and bursting into flames.

The pilot and a passenger in the single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza were killed and an adult and child in the vehicle were injured, the Pembroke Pines Fire Department said in a news release. The identity of the couple killed was not disclosed.

The plane crashed shortly after taking off from North Perry Airport around 3 p.m., the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement. The cause of the accident has not been determined and is being investigated.

A video taken from a Ring security camera in a nearby home captured the crash. The footage shows the plane first crashing into the vehicle before slipping on the street. A ball of fire breaks out as the plane breaks into pieces.

Authorities said the fire was extinguished by firefighters and the driver and passenger of the vehicle were evacuated. The plane took off a power line before the vehicle was struck, officials said.
