The biggest challenge for Florida during the coronavirus vaccine spread process was supply, state Lieutenant General Jeanette Nunez told Fox & Friends on Saturday.
‘We want to make sure that, as those doses come in, we do not waste the vaccine … we want to make sure we get shots. [the] weapon as quickly as possible, ”Nunez explained in response to a question about the rollout of her state to New York.

In contrast to the deployment of her state to New York, where vaccines are reportedly not used due to rigid standards, Nunez said the Sunshine State put the most vulnerable population, people aged 65 and older, first.
“Throughout the beginning of the pandemic, Governor [Ron] “DeSantis has focused and placed priority where it should be, on the elderly, and this is something he was very clear about about the spread of the vaccine,” Nunez told co-host Jedediah Bila.
“For us, it is unscrupulous that a 22-year-old receives a vaccine before their 74-year-old grandparent,” she said.
