Fka twigs open up to ‘horrific’ racial abuse she faced when she dated Robert Pattinson

FKA branches said she was plagued with shameful racist abuse during her relationship with Robert Pattinson.

The singer, who was engaged to the actor before the split in 2017, said she was exposed to hurtful and ignorant comments from some of his fans during a three-year relationship.

Talk to Louis Theroux about the Based Twigs said in the podcast, “People just called me the most hurtful and ignorant and horrible names on the planet.”

She further explained that she would never ‘deny’ her relationships in the past, but acknowledged that none of them had to be ‘defined’ by their time together.

“I’m not trying to deny my history, but I think it’s important that I am not defined by it, because he does not have to define by it,” she said.

In the same interview with Theroux, the singer opened up about her relationship with Shia LaBeouf in the past, saying he made her feel ‘like the worst person ever’.

Last month (December 11), the musician filed a lawsuit against the actor, accusing him of ‘ruthless abuse’ during their previous relationship, including sexual batteries, assault and inflicting emotional distress.

LaBeouf responded at the time to Twigs’ allegations and those of another ex-girlfriend Karolyn Pho, saying that “many of these allegations are not true”, but said he “owed the women the opportunity to make their statements public and to accept responsibility for the things I have done ”.

On the podcast, Twigs said she wants to express her experiences ‘because it’s something in society that’s a very big problem and it’s very common, but for some reason we do not talk about it’.
