Fist pump! ‘Masked Dancer’ Hammerhead is an MTV reality star

When the Masked dancers Super Six (the semifinals of Group A and B) competed together for the first time this Wednesday, the Hammerhead were looking for blood. But he could no longer surpass advanced bipedal hooves such as the Tulip, Cotton Candy and Sloth. Apparently this shark boy was better in the gym, tanning and laundry than in Latin ballroom, so his dance skills did not quite translate to the Karma dance floor.

If you did not find out, the Hammerhead apparently has a resident of sweater beach. But only the judging panel’s resident vibeologist, Paula Abdul, guessed that this insane character was the MTV reality show’s humble best member, Vinny Guadagnino; everyone thinks it was Pauly D or the situation. (Interestingly, no one guessed that the Hammerhead was Ronnie Ortiz-Magro ‘juicehead’.)

Paula seems to have paid extra attention to this season’s clues: the background of the Hammerhead’s talk show, his love of painting, his dream of becoming a lawyer, and so on. Maybe she was the only one Masked dancers judge who actually saw Vinny play a character named Joe Conte in a B-movie called Jersey Shore Shark Attack. Or, perhaps, she was the only judge who saw Vinny shake his stuff in that Vegas Chippendales revue a few years ago. Whatever the reason, Paula is clearly the MVP of this panel – even if she changed her Hammerhead guess from Wednesday to David Dobrik.

Sorry, Vinny. Cabs are here, and it’s your time to go. Apparently it’s time for the T-shirt too, because you no longer have to have the sinewy shark outfit. But let’s judge the five remaining participants in the mystery celebrity and find out who is most fist-worthy:

The Cotton Candy

This fun and fearless swing-dance partner routine, complete with a cute large car entrance, has sown with high energy, high confidence and high kicks in Rockettes style. Her well-executed stage moves, which also include lifts with a gravity challenge and a seemingly double joint, once again indicated that this candy girl is a trained professional (a dancer, an athlete, or both). ‘You brought your A-game. You define what The masked dancer is all about, ”Judge Ken Jeong declared.

The clues: She is ‘no stranger to competition’, even though some ‘haters’ in her past have claimed she cannot dance. Visual clues included five rings and five gold balloons. The Cotton Candy admitted in response to the judges’ new round of “Rapid Fire” that ice cream “plays a role” in her life, that she has “a lot of panties” at home and that she can not do her day job in heels. In previous episodes, she revealed that she was a ‘normal’ activity in her childhood and was a ‘team player’.

Judges’ guesses: Tara Lipinski, Jennifer Lopez, Kristi Yamaguchi, Gabby Butler, Jenna Dewan, Simone Biles.

My guess: With all the Olympic and icy clues we get week after week, I have to stick to my feeling that this is Tara Lipinski. She’s really going for the gold this season; the haters who once criticized her dance skills can take several seats.

The exotic bird

This beautiful creature has taken her sweet time to enjoy every moment of her sexy dance on Lewis Capaldi and Jessie Reyez’s “Rush”, and looks more committed and comfortable in her (feathered) skin than ever before. Paula ‘got a sense of confidence’ not seen in the Bird’s previous routines, and Judge Brian Austin Green told her, ‘I think you’re more of a dancer than you are. think you are. “And just like that, even more nay-outing haters have been effectively silenced (the exotic bird has also been mocked in the past for her alleged subparance dance).

The clues: Her life has changed since she became a mommy bird, but she rediscovered her ‘stuffy side’ while competing in disguise. This week’s big visual clue was a rose tattoo, and the Bird revealed that it modeled and played in music videos and advertising campaigns. In previous derivations’ clue packages, earlier illnesses, football, American apple pie, teenage stardom were mentioned, and it’s hard to breathe, the numbers 1 and 17, shiny, perfume, an expiration date of ‘Best at ’07’ and teased because he is a ‘big bird’.

Judges’ guesses: Kat Von D, Dita Von Teese, Amber Rose, Ashley Graham, Kate Upton.

My guess: I’m confident this is Paula’s guy American Idol pal, Jordin Sparks, season 6 champion. Jordin is a relatively new mom; is the daughter of NFL star Phillippi Sparks; was 17 when she won Idol in ’07; was in the movie Spark (hence the luster); has her own flavor line; is a former 5-foot plus-size model; a no. Had 1-hit with ‘No Air’ (hence the clue ‘hard to breathe’); and fought a hemorrhage of the vocal cords and acute appendicitis. Her recent single “Red Sangria” was her saltiest dance floor to date, and if that wasn’t enough to go on, her very first single was called … wait for it … “Tattoo.”

The sloth

This ‘classic Hollywood jazz number’ to ‘Ain’t That a Kick in the Head’ really kicked things up a notch. The sloth shows the flexibility and agility of a youngster, but has the swag and elegance of an old entertainer. There was also his usual dilapidated-vaudevillian shtick, while dramatically pretending to have nursed two bad knees. “There’s so much performance on Broadway on stage,” Paula marvels.

The clues: He’s not a newcomer to the dance floor ‘, is family oriented and his family is not in Los Angeles (where this recording was made). Other clues this Wednesday included 18 stars and elephants, while the previous clues sports equipment, a Say anything-style boombox, a cruise ship, Glee, Disney, and the phrases ‘bad boy’, ‘took a chance and jumped’ and ‘leading man’.

Judges’ guesses: Bradley Cooper, John C. Reilly, Sacha Baron Cohen.

My guess: This one really bumped me; I’d guessed before American IdolSterling Todrick Hall, changed by contestant and the legendary singer of Van Halen, David Lee Roth. The Sloth’s hammy personality, physical comedy and Catskills skills give me Diamond Dave vibes completely, but the dance skills are more Todrick-like. I would really like the sloth to be Roth (hey, that rhymes!), But I’ll stay with Disney fanatic and former dancer Todrick, cruise ship, for now.

The Tulip

The flower girl ‘returned to the first dance she ever learned’, ballet, with this graceful Ariana Grande soundtrack. ‘I saw ballet practice. … You are a born artist, ”said Paula. “You just made the game go even higher,” Judge Ashley Tisdale said. I agree. Although the sloth may place a respected third place, I think it will ultimately amount to the Tulip vs. They are the obvious Super Two.

The clues: She “never liked to compete”, but to keep going The masked dancer made her ‘fall in love with performances again’. Important visual cues were a “Masked Dancergram” account (indicating that she is a young social media maven) and a “Second Annual Mother-Daughter Dance.” Clues in the past have chalk, flower crowns, the acronym “ALDC”, TikTok, acrobatics, Evil, and the words ‘frozen’ and ‘princess’.

Judges’ guesses: Sarah Hyland, Simone Biles (again?), Julianne Hough.

My guesses: After seeing the Tulip bloom on stage three times now, I feel pretty safe in my suspicion that she’s an acrobatic alumnus of In mammas‘Abby Lee Dance Company (‘ ALDC ‘). It’s probably Mackenzie Ziegler, who played in the film Ice Princess Lily and like Dorothy in the holiday pantomime Wonderful Winter by Oz, and has 15 million Instagram followers and nearly 20 million on TikTok.

The zebra

With his second Latin routine of the season after “Mi Gente” by J Balvin and Willy William, this striped star was clearly in his prime and displayed – as guest judge Whitney Cummings remarked – a consolation on stage that could not be falsified . ‘Brian notes that the Zebra’s’ amazing footwork’ was the sign of a pro boxer.

The clues: He is ‘known for a hook’, has performed and performed music, and the most important visual cues this week were ‘KO’ and a graham cracker followed by the letter E (as in ‘Grammy’). Initial clues included a sports medal, cinnamon, charity work, the word ‘champion’ and a mention of the Zebra as a ‘ZEO’

Judges’ guesses: LL Cool J, Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather.

My guess: Last week I guessed Mayweather, but this week’s Grammy clue concluded the deal for me: Now I know dis De La Hoya. Believe it or not, Oscar De La Hoya’s self-titled Latin pop album in 2000, featuring songs written by Diane Warren and the Bee Gees, was nominated for a Grammy Award. No wonder Oscar is so comfortable dancing Latin during this show.
