Finnish injuries at Chiefs vs. Browns: Clyde Edwards-Helaire is ‘Day by Day’

Every training day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs proposes an official injury report until the next game. The Chiefs host the Cleveland Browns in the NFL Division Round at 2:05 p.m., Arrowhead Time on Sunday.

  • Two Chiefs are ruled out for their Divisional Round match – lineout player Willie Gay (single) and wide receiver Sammy Watkins (calf). Read more about the Watkins injury here.
  • Three Chiefs are official doubtfulrunning rugby Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle), cornerback Rashad Fenton (foot / ankle) and tighthead Deon Yelder (groin). Edwards-Helaire, who has not played since week 15, has just as a restrict participant on Wednesday of this week.
  • Andy Reid, Chief Coach of Chiefs, on the practice: ‘A few days ago [Edwards-Helaire] moved around really well, and then we helped him just like that. He’s still doing things, just not with the group. So, we’ll just see how he does here. We take it literally day by day, so we’ll see how it rolls. ”
  • The Browns have listed four players doubtful for the game. The Cleveland players to watch are Jack Conklin (thigh muscle / knee) and linebacker BJ Goodson (shoulder). Both have restrict practice status on Friday. Browns Head Coach Kevin Stefanski said the Browns plan to monitor Conklin over the next 48 hours.
