Final score: Cleveland Cavaliers remain unbeaten 118-94 over Philadelphia 76ers

Another night, another win for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

With a 118-94 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers Sunday night in Cleveland, the Cavs improved the season to 3-0, making them one of only six teams still unbeaten.

Both teams tackled the game Sunday with injuries in the starting lineup, with Isaac Okoro for Cleveland and Joel Embiid for Philadelphia. Cleveland is joined by Larry Nance Jr. in place of Okoro and leaning in the size of the first five. The Cavs finally got hot out of the gate and outscored the 76ers by five in the first quarter and by nine in the second quarter.

Cleveland hammered the paint again on its way to victory and outscored Philadelphia 68-38 in the paint. Andre Drummond led by 24 points and shot 11-18 off the field. The Cavs also took a 19-8 lead on the second chance points, with Drummond dropping 6 offensive setbacks.

Collin Sexton added 22 points for the Cavs, while Darius Garland added 14 points and 7 assists. Tobias Harris led the 76ers by 16 points, while Ben Simmons added 15.

The one difficult moment for the Cavs was that Kevin Love played just 9 minutes and left the game with a serious calf injury. Per Cavs head coach JB Bickerstaff said Love had an ultrasound of the injury on Sunday and will have an MRI tomorrow. The injury, which Love sustained in the preseason, kept him out of the season before making his debut against the Pistons on Saturday.
