‘Final Fantasy XIV’ PS5 beta launches April 13

More than ten years after the difficult launch of PC and PS3, Final Fantasy XIV comes to another PlayStation console. During a unveiling event on Friday night, Square-Enix announced that an open beta for PS5 will launch on April 13th. On the new system, the MMORPG works in 4K resolution and promises much improved performance. It is already playable in the backwards compatibility mode, but the new version will be fully optimized and can be played for free for those already registered in the PS4 game.

The company has also announced a new expansion pack for the game, Endwalker, which will be launched this fall with new jobs, new areas and an equal cap that goes up to 90. start again.

That’s right, the game’s first round went so badly that Square Enix turned it off before Realm Reborn was re-launched as version 2.0 and eventually switched to PS4. The game now claims more than 20 million players and comes to PlayStation 5 ready to take its tasks to a new level.
